I was blown away by this Big Sur elopement with Macayla and John!! These two exude beauty, romance, and love, and so did the setup. The Shootout Society ALWAYS freaking kills it and this Big Sur elopement was no different.
I want to take this blog post to highlight a few of the amazinggg vendors that put this together. Because the elopement couldn’t have turned out so beautifully without them! Gianna (Events by Gianna, a California wedding planner) did an amazing job planning everything!!
The Elopement Florals
First up let’s talk about the florals that tied this whole shoot together seamlessly. Barefoot Floral, a California florist, absolutely KILLED it with the floral setups in every element of the elopement. Pampas grass at the picnic setup. The boho bouquet. Flowers on the cake. And the most insane floral installment on the ceremony arbor. I repeat, INSANE. Florals bring so many elements of an elopement day together in the best way and are always one of my fave parts of elopement decor. Just one example of why – the warmth of the flowers stood out amazinglyyy against the colors of Big Sur’s coastline!!
Second, let’s get into the signage: I mean just take a look at the beautiful signs at the picnic setup!! The calligraphy is stunning and I loved how there was a mix of both wooden + acrylic signs. So Wild Horse Design Co. freaking killed it and the signs were super simple yet elegant.
And next, more on that picnic setup – I’m a HUGE fan of picnics at elopements. What could be more fun than drinking + eating finger foods with your babe at such a beautiful location?! Forage Vintage Rental Co. provided beautiful rentals for the setup and the food was put together by Tart & Tin and Graze + Gather Co. Tart & Tin created the gorg simple white textured wedding cake, and Graze + Gather put together the yummy charcuterie board.
The Bride & Groom’s Outfits
Aaand finally we can’t forget about the OUTFITS!! Macayla rocked an amazing, fluffy boho gown by Bliss Bridal Wear that paired perfectly with the fringe jacket she wore at the end of the evening. Then John wore a classic black tux (also from Bliss Bridal Wear), lookin’ sharp AF standing next to Macayla all day. These two were theee perfect models for us.
To sum up, this day was INCREDIBLE and it’s always so much fun getting to be creative with other photographers + vendors. I’m ready for another Big Sur elopement – who’s with me?!
